My stay at Shiv Shakti was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly, fun-loving, and did their best to maintain harmony. The organized set-up of the dorms was impressive, and the cleanliness and maintenance of the amenities, including the rare 2 showers with attached WC, were top-notch. I especially loved the complimentary tea and the friendly resident cat who added a touch of excitement to the hostel experience. The location was ideal, close to restaurants, shops, and yoga centers. I felt at home and part of the family at Shiv Shakti.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely hostel! From the moment I arrived, the family and staff made me feel right at home. They were always there to help with anything I needed and the rooms were cleaned regularly. The location of the hostel is excellent, just off the main road with plenty of restaurants nearby and a short walk to the river. I especially enjoyed the weekly family dinners and the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The value for money was exceptional and I even got to meet some amazing people during my stay. I highly recommend Shiv Shakti!

The hostel provided a comfortable and cozy stay with private beds equipped with curtains, lights, and power outlets. The location was ideal, surrounded by shops and restaurants, making it convenient for guests to explore the area. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, often cutting in and out. towels were not provided in the room upon arrival, which was a minor inconvenience.

The location of the hostel was perfect, right in the heart of the yoga hub surrounded by great cafes and shops. The building itself was well maintained with a comfortable lounge and a rooftop lounge that offered stunning views of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The lack of hot water for showers was a major disappointment, especially during the cold November weather.

We had a fantastic stay at SS! The hostel's location in Rishikesh is perfect, with easy access to restaurants, temples, and the beautiful Ganga river. Our room was clean, comfy, and cozy, with individual fans for each bed. The staff at Shiv Shakti were incredibly friendly and helpful, always addressing any issues promptly and organizing fun activities for guests. We particularly enjoyed the free dinners and tours they arranged. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views, and we adored the presence of the two adorable dogs.

The staff at this hostel were absolutely amazing, always welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. They even upgraded our room when there was an issue with the hot water. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with AC and fan for a perfect sleep. The private balcony was a nice touch. The hostel also offered family dinner nights with delicious food, music, and dancing. The staff made us feel at home and were incredibly helpful, even taking one of us to the hospital for free. The beds were super comfortable and the hostel had a fun and sociable atmosphere. The double rooms were spacious and had hot water, comfy beds, and a balcony with a nice view. The hostel had lots of activities on offer and even a resident dog who was adorable. Despite some renovation work, it didn't disrupt our stay at all. a fantastic place to stay with GREAT value for money and a lovely atmosphere.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the value for money at this hostel. The private room I booked was incredibly spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom was impeccable, which I really appreciated. The hostel's location was also great, with key attractions and amenities within easy reach. Another advantage I enjoyed was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready to assist and made my stay even more enjoyable.

While my overall experience was great, there was some noise that disrupted my sleep at night. Although it was expected in a hostel setting, there were small parties that could be a bit noisy.
